Erected by ALEXANDER CHRISTIE, fisherman, Torry and ELSPET LEES his wife in loving memory of their sons ALEXANDER who died 14 Oct 1894 aged 13 years, JAMES who died 25 Feb 1903 aged 7 years and 9 months. The above ALEXANDER CHRISTIE died 25 Oct 1939 aged 84 years. Also GEORGE aged 51 years and GEORGE HOLMES their son-in-law aged 48 years who were both lost at sea March 1941. Also ELSPET LEES his wife who died 4 Dec 1944 aged 86 years. Their daughter ELSPET JANE, widow of GEORGE HOLMES, died 30 July 1980 aged 88 years.
