In loving memory of JOHN KNOWLES who died 8 Feb 1901 aged 53 years. Also his sons ROBERT who died 26 Mar 1883 aged 1 and WILLIAM who died 7 Dec 1898 aged 14. His son-in-law EDWARD JOHN NEWDICK A.B., R.N. torpedoed in the Dardanelles 25 May 1915 aged 26 years. His grandson EDWARD JOHN DUFFIELD who died in infancy. Also CHRISTINA CHRISTIE wife of the above JOHN KNOWLES who died 2 Nov 1933 aged 82 years. ANDREW KNOWLES their son who died in Doncaster 4 June 1938 aged 57 years.
