Erected by ELSPET CHRISTIE in memory of her husband ANDREW LAW who died 27 Apr 1901 aged 53 years. Of their children, HELEN who died in infancy, ANDREW who died 22 Nov 1879 aged 5 years, ANDREW who died 15 Sept 1888 aged 1 year and 5 months, HELEN who died 7 June 1894 aged 12 years. The above ELSPET CHRISTIE died 10 July 1922 aged 78 years. Their son-in-law DAVID COWIE MAIN, Chief Stoker R.N. died 2 Aug 1941 aged 63 years and MARY ANN GRACE LAW his wife died 22 Sept 1952 aged 74 years.
